I am at a point where I could upgrade my broken standard with a new reel, get the large fish skill or get a new boat togoto BC. Looking to get the most points/gold for the buck.
- I am assuming that you have at least an Excali-pole or Necro-pole if you are thinking of going to BC. If not - don't bother until you do - anything lower will likely break most of the time.
- If you are not at the 3rd quest of the Broken Standard - you could hold off on getting your augment. You will need to have all three augments and leveled up your Broken Standard to level 70 before starting the 4th quest, however.
- That being said - most-likely there is a reason why the skill minimum requirement is 65,000 points but the mini-cruiser minimum is 150,000. Joe is probably hinting you should get the skill before the boat.
- My advice in these situations is always look at the minimum requirements - they kind of nudge you in which direction to go.
